4/12/2008 9:30 a.m.	Craft Fair	This year Franklin: The Centre will be hosting a number of special events in the weeks leading up to Christmas. Bookinopolis, Franklin Arts and Cultural Trust and Mocca are all combining their efforts to host two separate Market days: The first market day will be a CRAFT FAIR on Thursday the 4^th of December from 9:30am – 3pm . We are looking for entrepreneurial and community spirited individuals OR businesses to showcase their products on these two days. We are really focussed on providing something different to the people of Franklin for Christmas; one-off items that are handmade and unique. If you are making beautiful products which would make great gifts you could do very well with our high foot-traffic and art-focused demographic. The way to mark your spot on our Foyer floor is to get in early with a $10 dollar note, which is the cost of table for the day. 5/12/2008 9:30 a.m.	Christmas 2008 at Artefact	Call for Work FACT is calling for local artists to submit work to be sold at Artefact during the Chistmas Period. If you are interested please return the participation form by the 17th of November. Please click here. Selected work will be available for sale from the 22nd of November until the 6th of January. Artist price should not exceed $200. Bookinopolis, Franklin Arts and Cultural Trust and Mocca are all combining their efforts to host two separate Market days: The second market day will be a PRODUCE MARKET on the 11^th of December from 9:30am – 3pm. We like to hear from growers and producers of luscious looking things to eat- Everyone prefers to buy healthy produce locally and it is an obvious opportunity to introduce your business or raise the profile of your brand in the community. Since all the organisers of this event are women we would like to send out a special shout-out to those who might be in possession of chocolate. Other things we thought would be fantastic are speciality cheeses, deli foods, meats, preserves, honey, baking, fresh veggies, cultural food.
