Grand Opening Exhibition, Celebrate Franklin, 30 June-15 August: Photographs, sketches and watercolours revealing the wealth of Franklin's people, land and communities, including images by famous NZ photographers Robin Morrison and David Siers. Created for Franklin District Council by Auckland War Memorial Museum.
 
Counties Country Quilters, 17-22 August:  Bi-annual display of members' works.
 
Jean Picot & Stella Smith, 31 August-12 September: Landscapes, caricatures and abstractions.  
 
Spring Show, 'From Pukekohe Hill,' September 21- 3 October:  Paintings, ceramics and sculpture by FACT Members and other local artists. Prizes sponsored by R.C. Hari Family. 

Chariots of Fire, 7-31 October: Stunning collection of equine paintings, photography and sculpture by Jane Crosbie, Trish Dunell, Jane Denny, Jan Thomson, Aroha Crosbie, and Phil Crosbie.

Franklin Emerging Artists: 22 February - 12 March: The shape of art to come, by young artists just begining their careers.

Artistic Friends: 18 April - 6 May: A selection of works by Charlotte Brits, Daphne Ellwood, Pamela French, Margaret Given, Ruth Lyons, Rae McKeown and Brenda Tolhurst. 

Our Stories: 9  - 28 May: A nationally touring exhibition and education programme sponsored by Franklin IHC.  

Matariki 2008:  6 - 20 June: A special exhibition held throughout FACT's Matariki festival. Local Maori artists exhibited paintings, sculpture, and Maori weaving.

Split Images: 27 June - 16 July: A joint exhibition of 'florascapes' by digital artist Julia Thorne and landscapes by the painter Gaylene Earle.   

Steel Shots: 17 - 31 July: A special photographic exhibition and charity auction by Aliah Jan, whcih celebrated the beauty of steel printed on steel.

An Arable Tale: 2 - 22 August:  The Biannual exhibition from the Auckland Handweavers and Spinners Guild.

Franklin Brushstrokes: 25 August - 10 September: The annual exhibition from the Franklin Art Group.

Solomon D'Silveria: 12 September - 8 October: A rare exhibition by this Awhitu resident, featuring large-scale landscapes.

Spring Show, Franklin Faces, 11 - 28 October: The theme 'Franklin Faces' interpreted in a variety of mediums. Prizes sponsored by The Dentist and Heritage Hotel & Spa Du Vin.

NZ Foot and Mouth Painting Artists, 31 October - 12 November: A collection of work from artists who, due to a physical disability, paint using their mouth or foot.

Jim Ayers, 'My World', 5 December - 23 December:  A retrospective exhibition from this local artist, featuring work which dates back to 1940.  

2009

P10 + 1 4 GM, 10th - 31st JanuaryAn eclectic exhibition which combined painting, photography and sculpture. 

'UR Here,' 5th February - 21st February: An exhibition of work inspired by recognisable and much loved landmarks in Franklin.

'Murmurs,' 28th February - 28th March: An exhibition of objects and the use of space.

 'Cloud Nine,' 3 - 29 April: An exhibition of kites by master kite maker Jim Ayers, with atmospheric photography by Jules Riding. 

'From the Edge,'  1 May - 23 May 2009: A collection of contemporary artwork, including sculpture, painting and installation.

'Social Light,' 28 May - 20 June 2009: Franklin's contribution to the Auckland Festival of Photography. Four female photographers collectivly commented on the depiction of women in fashion and magazines.

'Matariki 2009,' 26 June - 10 July 2009: A special exhibition held throughout the 2009 Matariki festival. Local Maori artists exhibited paintings, sculpture, and Maori weaving.

'Hakaturi' 10 July - 8 August 2009: An exhibition of Terazzo Mosaics by Craig Brooking of RED TUI and Wood turning art objects by the Franklin Wood Turners.

Counties Quilters Annual Exhibition 14 August - 29 August 2009: A much anticipated exhibition of the years work of the Quilters Club. 

'Going with the flow' 1 September - 15 September2009: An exhibition of vibrant mystic oil on canvas paintings and hand painted glass by Vejkoslav Nemesh.

 'Colour and Light' 18 September - 4 October 2009:  A community exhibition with works from the local art group; Franklin Art Group.

'It's a small world' 7 October - 31 October 2009:  An art instalation of knitted booties by the 'knitting grannies' of Franklin.  Booties were donated to the 'Kids First' wool program at Middlemore hospital upon completion.

'Chew Chew' 12 November - 30 November: Annual painting exhibition by the New Zealand Mouth and Foot Painters.

'Stories of an immigrant translated into art' 5 December - 24 December 2009:  Ceramic sculpture of bananas and paintings of origami by artist Onlie Ong.
