The Franklin Art Group began in 1965 and has been an integral part of the Franklin art and cultural scene since. Its roots are firmly embedded in the area. They are an enthusiastic and welcoming group, encouraging new members.
They meet on the third Wednesday of every month at 1.30pm in the Leslie Comrie Room of FACLT. You are most welcome to join them.
They also meet during the year with a varied programme of events. These include sketching outdoors, talks and demonstrations by visiting artists, collaborative group work, and film screenings.
The exhibition features selected artwork that the group has created over the past year, reflecting a variety of artistic styles from traditional to contemporary.
